Lydia VanDenBroek has over 30 years of experience in the legal field, the first 10 years as a secretary in most areas of litigation, and the last 25 years as a paralegal specializing in commercial real estate development, purchase and sale transactions, lending, title and survey review

Professional Experience Includes:

  •  Extensive experience in commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions on developed and undeveloped land, including contract timelines, title and survey review, title objection letters, closing preparation, completion and post-closing follow through

  •  Title review and preparation of title letter on electric transmission easement parcel acquisitions in the States of Colorado, New Mexico and Nebraska for a major electric utility coop

  •  Corporate entity formation and maintenance

  •  Public Trustee and judicial foreclosures

  •  Document preparation and closing of SBA loan packages

  •  Commercial lease review and summary

Summary of Qualifications

  •  Computer experience includes Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe Acrobat, Worldox

  •  Experience with billing, AR and AP, and time keeping in TABS and Advantage Law

  •  Proficient with the use of all e-filing procedures in State Courts, and all Federal Court levels, both in Colorado and in other states

  •  Work well independently and in a team situation

  •  Strong organizational skills

  •  Detail oriented
