Karen Reida has over 20 years experience in the lending, real estate, legal and title company industries.  

Professional Experience Includes: 
  •  Independent Contractor Paralegal.

  •  Extensive experience with loan and real estate document preparation / review and contract compliance. Includes Title Work, Surveys, Promissory Notes, Mortgages/Deeds of Trust, UCC’s, ALR’s, SNDA’s, Estoppels, Assignments, Allonges, Contracts, Reconveyances/Releases, Credit Reports, Appraisals, etc.

  •  Quality Control, Post Closing, Loan Modification and Loan Workout experience.

  •  Due Diligence, Auditing and Clean Up of Loan Files including clearing past due exceptions and working with REO properties.

  •  Interact successfully with in-house and outside counsel.

  •  Acquisition and organization of credit/legal/collateral files.

  •  Loan and Real Estate Closing experience including Loan Pool / Portfolio Sales.

  •  Document tracking and follow up including recorded mortgages, title policies and UCC’s.

  •  Computer experience includes most Microsoft Windows application software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc), Adobe, Lotus Notes, Google and proprietary corporate systems.

  •  Real Estate Transactions (Acquisitions and Dispositions) including title, survey and appraisal reviews (commercial and residential).

  •  Management experience includes hiring, training, building teams and all management functions including performance reviews, salary adjustments and bonus calculation. Putting policies and procedures in place and training personnel. Prior management positions include Closing Manager for a small balance commercial real estate lender; Vice President/Regional Operations Manager for a bank and non-bank lender; AVP/Acquisitions Officer for a bank workout subsidiary; Team Facilitator for a commercial lender.

  •  Previous positions also include Senior Commercial Closer for a commercial lender and a title company; Loan Officer and Loan Processor for both bank and non-bank lenders and Real Estate Broker.
